okay had an accountings test today on accounting concepts..
nothing much to it.. u just had to memorise the concepts..
then pe, where i slacked arnd the whole time cuz my group was umpire-ing haha..
interval had 2 pieces of bread, and maths test!
there were cups with some red thing on evry table with a test paper..
then i asked the teacher "hey is that poison so we can kill ourselves if we dunno a qn?"
haha lol..
he was like "oh.. no its not poison.."
it turned out to be the naturals jelly snake..
mine was red!
but i wnted purple..
llol..
n there were jelly snakes cuz the test was abt them lol!
there was one where i was supposed to find out how many snakes a child can make with one cup of jelly mixture..
but the weird qn was " justify the mathematical model you used and list at least three limits of it, and how it would affect your calculations.."
i kept staring at the qn..
nothing came so i just wrote some sentences ^^..
probbly got it right but i dunno la..
so weird one..
then lunch, ate anotha 2 slices of bread [thers nothing else to bring from the house!!]
there was economics, and abt near the beginning of the lesson, ther was a spider crawling on the table at the back row and this kinda big korean guy got really frieked haha!
the teacher went to the back and i think he flisked the spider to the korean guy, then the korean guy jumped out of his chair n crashed into a table behind lol!
then the teacher was like "you so big and the spider is that small!!"
and the korean guy was like, "sp- spiders bother me.. they make me crazy.."
lol in a very strong korean accent
the whole class started laughing haha..

okay!! badminton practices in sch starting next weeek yayes!!
im kinda scared those ppl a lot more pro than me lars..
then i paiseh heh..
but i'll go!!

oh and during chemistry we made bronze 2 cent coins gold!!
the first one i screwed up cuz i left it in fire too long..
it turned bronze again..
second one a classmate was there to help so it turned out nice n gold!
cool..
they shud do that in sg,,
would be fun.. ^^

thats me without jersey on..

okay ytd was real fun!!
went to south brighton (which is a park kinda place? near a river.. has a col flying fox thats bigger than pasir ris park's one, and some other playground stuff, and a basketball court.. and its like a forest around it.. with those big trees..)
yep went with 3rd aunt n family n 2nd aunt's fren family..
me n odie had so much fun..
went on the flying fox a few times.. so fun!! wee~!
then we played catch with a tennis ball, then went n sat on a thing that turns round..
then talked n laughed abt things, tried to stay on the round thing (its tilted to one side and turns.. so quite hard to stay on if u sit on the side.)
hah yeah then after we played catch with gaius n elijah.. i kept missing >_<
then played on flying fox more then me, odie, gaius, elijah, 2nd aunt, elisha played frisbee!!
so fun..
elisha kept throwing it wrongly then it flew weird..
yeh then funny stuff happened..
laughed a lot..
then went home!!
had dinner at that awesome vietnam restaurant that had great roast duck (but i didnt try) i ate fried rice which was better than sg's one =D
then went home n watched flushed away and scary movie four ^^
flushed away wasnt that great..
its kinda like the same old love stories except now its animated rats..
very cliche..
then slept dunno wad time lor hah...
today woke up at 12pm eek!

Hellos...
thats me (duh..) in my uniform being shy haha..
i tried so many times to smile but it kept turning out crappy so wat the heck...

heh chemistry has proven interesting enough..!
monday we did a practical where we burned copper sulphate in oxygen and what comes out is a white solid (powdery thing) right?
we put it on the table, took a small spatula, put it on our hands and dropped a bit of water on it..
then there'll b a sudden temperature change n it'll sorta burn ur palm? but its not that hot la..
yeh thats what we wer supposed to do..
the teacher dais the girls should try cuz apparently they can withstand pain better than guys.. Hah!! i like him..

haha but its so cool!
i mean, i so totally see why we dont do this in sg cuz if someone complains to their parents the sch will end up getting sued or sth LOL..
i tried but i think i got too little on my hands n i didnt feel anything?
zzz...
but my fren put quite a bit and she didnt feel anything too.. altho ther wer quite a few ppl yelping after dropping the water..
one guy put it on his whole hand and wet it..
siao..

then today we burned iron n sulphate tgthr and the result was sorta like molten metal in a test tube? it was glowing red.. cool eh?
the teacher said ther was a possibility the test tube might melt n if the metal inside goes on ur hand it'll burn a whole right through..
and if that happens it'll b bad cuz the benches will get damaged so someone would have to put their hands under the person's hand..

then (i was real surprised at this) the teacher told us we would be breaking the test tube to get the metal inside..
and i told my fren "woah! u noe, in sg we dont break test tubes on purpose" and she told me "haha yeah well here we do it all the time.. chem teacher likes breaking stuff"

then we wer to mix (ammonium i think) with the metal? and he told us to pack our bags cuz it might get overbearing..
he said if we start feeling a bit oozy it'll b the first stages of death cz someone died on the toilet bowl when the gas went into the toilet.. think he was joking tho, cuz when we did it the whole classroom was filled with the smell..
it was totally unbearable i tell u!!
smell of rotten eggs, or according to my fren, someone's ass..
evryone ran outta the classroom haha..
but the teacher was still in there clearing up..
i admire him for that..

yep also ytd badminton was fun altho it was reaaally bloody HOT ..
today was hot as well but at least thers wind..
me n odelia found a real good position for badminton, she at the front n me at the back n running arnd..
its real good altho if the person smashes to the side we miss..
i dun like smashes ><

u have to imagine ur a character in animal farm n write an interview-like script n present in front of class...
oh goodness..
i dun like doing those kinda things..
also thers a book review kinda project thing where u haf to read 6 books, 2 of hich have diff cultural perspectives n the other four can b novels or articles or wadeva..
done one alredy but eng teacher at camp =_= so cant ask him abt it..
so oh well..

oh i got my library card alredy yay!
its free somemore hee..

lol science test was stressful man..
not the test itself but sutyding for it..
cuz it was my first science test over here n i dun realy get how the "marking scheme" works..
not that its really a marking scheme .. just dunno wad to cal it..
it has standard qns : achieved, merit and excellence..
those r three diff kinds of qns, and have diff requirements..
yeh but the test itself was okaay..
fren in econs told me h din even need to study n it was okay, so i wouldnt need to study.. haha..
but it definitely didnt stop me from being stressed abt it..
was meaning to go to the teacher during lunch to ask abt stuff but i din noe wher to find her..

yehh..
then hanged in the library a bit with frens and went home..
so hot..
then read book..

just went for a walk wif my aunty n uncle cuz i was really full..
we walked a big round round our neighbourhood..
so nice cuz the night air is so fresh n cool..
we walked past an apple tree which dropped an apple a little smaller than two tennis balls..
too bad it was soft liao or i think my aunt would have brot it home..
haha.. but it was HUGE!
probbly fuji apple..

so i was thinking, i'd definitely wana go back to sg end of this year, and so i think i'll get a job and start saving!!
since the pay here is abt maybe $10 an hour (dunno whether tax has been deducted yet) and i can only work 10 hrs a week, i think i'll have to work at least 5 months to get $2000+, which'd get me a ticket home!!
yayes..
yeah so im hoping n PRAYING that i'll b able to find a job..
and at a convenient place too..
but first i must fill in those forms..
yeh hope it all goes well!

yay played badminton ytd..
but i was feeling lethargic for some reason..
probably never exercised much b4 that..
so i played knida badly at the start.. =/
i felt bad for playing bad.
cuz the ppl me n odie wer up against weren't kids/teens..
we played three rounds and had to go off liao..
but i was glad we played at least..
^^..

tmr we have a science test..
been studying but some facts the teacher didnt get us to write down or give notes on that..

oh n we'll b playing a proper softball game for p.e. tmr..

we made ginger beer ytd for science class..
the food technology room was kinda cool!
its soo diff from temasek's home economics kitchen!
the food tech room is like, kinda small for a work place..
there r like, metal tables arnd and then at one side of the room ther'r the stoves and stuff..
and then one side of the classroom is for the teacher, and theres this big mirror or top of the teacher's stove workbench for the class to see what the teacher would be doing. its so cool!

yeah then today i tried my ginger beer n its alright..
not enough taste tho.. but real gassy!
nice...

oh n today was mufti day too!
and its like be yourself day in temasek..
where u wear ur opwn clothes..
but then theres a theme u have to follow..
n the theme was superhero..
=D
so many weird ppl with weird costumes..
some cool costumes..

u dun have to folo the theme but u'll pay $1.50, and u pay $1 for uniform n u dont pay if u wear uniform..
which is kinda a good money earning strategy haha..
i just wore a pink tank top n black pants n a leather jacket but i had to pay $1.50..

im rreally looking forward to badminton on wednesday..
didnt play last week..
and if we didnt play again i'd b really unhappy..
grr..

zz i dun seem to b able to study one..
i probbly'll have to stay back after sch n go library to revise n stuff..
zzzz....

lols yay maths teacher's finally back!
and he taught us bearings today..
my nose was running during the lesson, and i kkept going up to throw my tissue n taking another one haha..
my accountings n maths classroom teacher's table have boxes of tissue..
so cool..
near the end of the lesson maths teacher was standing next to my table n he suddenly stare at me..
then i smiled n waved at him..
and he was like,"why're u so happy?"

haha yep but im glad he's back cuz i really really dun like 'babysitters'..
they teach but they don't teach properly..
WHICH WAS WHY I DIDNT NOE HOW TO DO THE BEARINGS QN IN THE MATHS TEST!
waaah..
its no fair!

we're making ginger beer for science on monday..
soo cool..
but i'll need to go buy a drink so i can get the bottle..
cuz this house doesnt have a 500ml bottle without those pop up caps..

i was just staring at gaius playing pokemon on his com..
today i felt really sian..

badminton tmr again!
yays!!

today a maths teacher asked our english teacher a maths qn n our eng teacher asked us..
its idiotic..
that maths teacher was my cousin's maths teacher and he likes to give all those tricky qns..
u'll see why. heres the qn:

a boy was with his mother shopping and he has a calculator.
he uses the calculator to add the value of the items together, but he uses the multiply sign instead of the plus sign.
his mother gets 4 items altogether and they add up to $7.11.
they boy has $7.11 on his calculator as well.
what are the values of each of the items? (they are not the same value)
so, its a+b+c+d = $7.11
a x b x c x d = $7.11

thers another tricky qn like that that the maths teacher gave to my cousin, but its too long to type out (i'm just lazy xD)

oh and my maths teacher didnt come again today zzzz....
i dun like the 'babysitter'!!!!
